Yesterday, we had the pleasure of participating in the Konei Markets at Westfield Coomera, and it was a fantastic experience that gave us valuable insights into what our customers truly want. Being surrounded by so many supportive shoppers was energising and really helped us connect with the people who appreciate our Māori-inspired designs.
One of the biggest surprises? The response to our miniature Christmas decorations! We initially designed these tiny ornaments for our display tree, intending them to simply showcase our full-sized decorations. But to our surprise, the miniatures became an unexpected hit, with so many people eager to buy them right on the spot. Some visitors were even ready to go out and buy mini trees just to recreate the look!
Another insightful takeaway was the feedback on our decorations. Many people expressed interest in purchasing individual ornaments rather than sets. After reviewing our collection, we realised that our heart-shaped decorations wouldn’t be feasible as individual items due to the sheer number of variations in styles, sizes, and colours (there are currently eight different designs!). However, we listened to your requests and made our popular Pikorua decorations available for individual purchase. You can now buy them individually in various colours, or as a set, straight from our website.
